Las Vegas The Strip
Take a stroll down the Las Vegas strip and check out the latest
hotels and casinos. You will experience a Disneyworld for adults.
After passing by a regularly erupting
volcano, pirates capturing ships on Treasure Island, a pink Venetian
Renaissance facade complete with the Canale Grande, and a fabulous
fountain display at the Bellagio, you might be ready for a nightclub
dance dressed up as an Egyptian King inside the Luxor's Pyramid.
The Las Vegas strip 3.5 miles are all it takes to wonder at all
this, lined with bright lights, glamorous hotels and great casinos.
You can also just sit on a bench and people-watch. Surrounded by the
warm desert air, '60s pop tones blaring out of the surrounding
casino hotels: beauties, hurried gamblers trying to make up their
loss, families and the regular tourist will all come into your view.
When you are up for entertainment, international acclaimed artists
can be found within a mile in Las Vegas, presenting the newest shows
and exciting magic. Adore showgirls next to the Eiffel Tower without
boarding a plane to Paris.
And if you are into arts: The Bellagio has its own fine-art gallery,
rooms filled with the works of Picasso, Monet, van Gogh, El Greco,
Hopper; on loan from the Phillips Collection in Washington.
There is no distinct line between Las Vegas strip night and day in
Las Vegas. So you can have fine dining at anytime, any kind. A short
hop from the slot-machines are the all-you-can-eat buffets, around
the clock. If you are in a more relaxed
mood, savour 5-star dishes and exclusive wines in private dining
rooms, accompanied by a violinist.
Still not satisfied: try pamper yourself in a first-class wellness
spa in Las Vegas, or leave planet earth entirely and enter the
Star-Trek Experience in the Hilton Hotel Las Vegas. |
